Bondage socks are a fairly unique piece of bondage gear. What is a bondage sock? In this case, it is leather, locking, and covers the entire foot. The soles are padded to make longer term wear more comfortable. They have two d-rings on each side of the ankle, similar to a standard ankle restraint. The combination of all of these also keeps the bound sub in his proper headspace. They always feel the leather against their skin and the rattling of the locks at their ankles.
I have bound many boys using my bondage socks instead of ankle restraints. It adds to the coverage of leather and makes it impossible for them to use their toes. Some boys are really handy with them. They can even untie themselves with their toes. However, if you cover them and make them unusable, they can no longer escape through that method. I usually use the bondage socks in a spread eagle position. Sometimes, I will also allow the bound boy more freedom by locking a chain between their ankles so they can walk around.
Bondage socks are also used in pup play. Similar to fist mitts, they remove some of the more “human” features from a bound boy and push them into a different headspace. With pup play, the object is to be less human and more of a pup. As such, using hands and feet isn’t something that is usually allowed. With fist mitts and bondage socks being used together, the boy has no choice but to use other methods to fetch items.
With bondage socks, there isn’t too much that can go wrong. The main issue is making sure they aren’t too tight. The socks are sized. Mine are a large size, which makes them more versatile. A smaller size would fit many boys more snugly, which is preferable. My bondage socks came from Mr S Leather. I highly recommend them.
