Featured Restraint – Bondage Belts

There are many methods of restraining boys and many tools you can use. One that is sometimes overlooked are bondage belts. Bondage belts are a simple leather belt that has many uses. They are different from standard belts in a few ways. The belts tend to be wider and longer than a standard belt. Bondage belts are also capable of being used in their entirety instead of just a short section like a standard belt. With the extra holes on the belt, they can be used in many fun ways. I’ve used bondage belts to strap someone down to a table, put them into a hogtie with a straitjacket, bound legs and arms together, and much more. As with all leather, it makes a nice creaking sound when the bound boy is struggling. Thicker belts, such as those sold by Mr. S Leather, add a bit more strength, allowing them support someone a little more than a regular belt would. They also come in assorted lengths, adding to their versatility.

One of my favorite uses for belts is to hold the arms of a boy bound in a straitjacket apart. It allows the jacket to be worn longer and is even more restrictive than without the belts. A straitjacket pulls the arms together, where the belts in the proper place pull the arms apart. Called a “pinion strap”, the belt is run over the biceps and buckled in the back. The result is that little to no movement is allowed but the shoulders don’t get sore as quickly. I learned this trick from LALthrBondage, who used the belts on a Posey straitjacket of his while I was wearing it. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Another good use of the belts is to tighten a hogtie. The belts can be used to hold the arms and legs close together, making struggling to get out just that much more futile. Belts can also be used with restraints, depending on the style of restraint, to either hold them together or apart.

As you are using a restraint, it is best to make sure they aren’t too tight and don’t cut off circulation. Wider belts are better to use, though any belt should not be used to completely support someone. Buckles are also something to watch for. Make sure the prongs are completely in as well as ensuring they aren’t at a pressure point. Some belts have snaps instead of rivets that hold the buckle in, so be wary of using these when large amounts of pressure are being used or the boy is more vulnerable, should they unsnap or break.

    1. Good ones are hard to find. I would recommend starting with any clothing store for shorter ones, look for belts with holes that go all the way down. Otherwise, Leather Creations and Mr S Leather sell some decent bondage belts.
